Indepedence day

Exercise “Indepedence day” (4/4)can be played with different ways, some of them are: • play hand to hand and if you have two bass drums play foot to foot •play right hand with left foot• play left hand with right foot play this exercise from 50 bpm to 180 bpm. Stay focused and increase speed gradually. This exercise is very good for a) warming muscles , b) build independence between hands and feet. You can play on snare drum or move your hands around the set.

Swim in the groove

Exercise “swim in the groove” This exercise (4/4) helps you to develop nice groove and very good reading. How to study it : 1. Play it on your bassdrum and on right hand keep playing 8th notes, on left hand keep laying on 2nd and 4th bar on snaredrum. 2. Play the exercise on (right hand) hi-hat, with the other hand play on 2nd and 4th bar on snare drum and play 4th notes on bassdrum.
